Make a Statement: How to Rock Red Suspenders

The color red implies energy and passion.  In a 2014 study that appeared in the Journal of Psychology & Marketing, researchers found that wearing red increased the degree to which a presenter could persuade his audience.  In addition, researchers at the University of Rochester and the University of Munich have found that men wearing red are seen as being more attractive, desirable and powerful.  From boardroom to bedroom, it seems that wearing red can produce results! How much red should you wear?  Research also shows that it doesn't matter how much red you wear - a little splash of red in your attire has the same effect as wearing a larger item like a red shirt or red jacket.  Since it can be tricky to figure out how to wear red without being overpowering, adding a small dose of the color with accessories such as suspenders is the perfect solution - which is why power ties and red suspenders have such classic appeal.
