Celebrities Who Love Suspenders

Let’s face it, celebrities are trendsetters. That's one of the reasons we will be glued to our TVs in a few days to watch the Academy Awards.  Inquiring minds want to know "what will they choose to wear to this star-filled event"? As suspenders have re-emerged as the hot accessory trend of the last few years, celebrities have also jumped on the bandwagon. Here’s a quick look at a few of our favorite actors and singers who have caught our eye wearing all styles of braces. Drew Barrymore Drew has kind of become the unofficial poster child for ladies in suspenders. Dressed up or down, formal or casual, denim or not she’s game. Like many celebs, her go-to type of suspenders seems to be the skinny matte black clip-ons, but she’s also been known to thrown on a pair of denim button suspenders over denim shorts. Channing Tatum Sticking to a more classic look, Channing has been spotted on the promotional circuit with button braces. In a little nod to the ‘30s and ‘40s he’s also gone with traditional amber brown suspenders paired with brown pants and a navy vest. Interestingly though, the actor seems to prefer wearing his suspenders off the shoulder and hanging to the side, stylishly dressing down an otherwise formal look. Beyoncé For Beyoncé, suspenders seem to be a way for her to jazz up a causal outfit. The most famous instance of her wearing suspenders involved an outfit where she wore skinny red suspenders over a plaid short and some skinny jeans. Taylor Swift Another fan of the casual suspenders look, Taylor often accessorizes with skinny black suspenders creating a chic and totally fun silhouette. She’s also been known to pair glitzy, bejeweled suspenders with high waisted shorts and matte black suspenders with crop tops. Benedict Cumberbatch On screen and off, Benny seems to find himself in suspenders more often than not. Our favorites are his skinny summery suspenders in olive green. The white double stitching of these suspenders bring on a warm country feeling that really can’t be beat as far as summer styles go.   Save Save Save
